Silver Star Mustangs Open Tryouts

Las Vegas, Nevada - The Silver Star Mustangs will host a local open tryout in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League in order to build our team roster for the upcoming 2024 season. Our open tryouts provide basketball players an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Mustangs basketball operations staff and coaching staff. Here is a look at our offensive and defensive philosophy:

• Offense Philosophy: We are running position-less motion offense with multiple horn sets to showcase our players' abilities for potential FIBA overseas or NBA G-League opportunities.

• Defensive Philosophy: We are running full-court man-to man defense with the ability to able to switch on the perimeter. Our focus is to find players who are in shape and well conditioned to play high level defense.

All interested basketball players who want to participate in the open tryouts must pre-register in order to determine the player’s basketball skills in order to receive an invitation to attend our open tryouts. We strive to bring in as many All-Americans, current professionals, and recent gradutes to compete for a spot on the Silver Star Mustangs' roster.

The Silver Star Mustangs is for basketball players who have a legitimate opportunity to be successful at the professional level either internationally or in the United States.
