About the Silver Star Mustangs

The Silver Star Mustangs is a first-of-its-kind semi-pro exhibition basketball team dedicated to developing top young prospects in preparation for overseas competition. The Silver Star Mustangs provides hardcore basketball fans with access to basketball prospects being groomed to impact the next level through high-level competition and comprehensive training and instruction.

Silver Star Mustangs History

The Silver Star Mustangs were founded on December 1, 2023, and they tipped off their inaugural season in July 2024. In doing so, we became Las Vegas' first-ever semi-pro exhibition basketball team franchise. After doing extensive marketing research, we adopted the Mustangs moniker as well as the classic midnight black, burgundy red, grey and white color scheme that has become synonymous with Las Vegas basketball.

What to expect at a Silver Star Mustangs game:

During games, fans can expect a fun, family-friendly environment, highlighted by entertainment squads, and off-the-court fun. They can also expect to see some of basketball's rising stars in high-level competition, looking to make an impact during overseas competition.

At Silver Star Mustangs games, our fans will see former NCAA Division I or II players, in addition to established veterans who have previous overseas experience. The Silver Star Mustangs will deliver exciting, fast-paced basketball at an affordable price!
